Discover the World is thrilled to announce our partnership with Wharf Hotels and the appointment of Ronald Wu as the new Regional Director Sales – USA, effective May 13, 2024. Ronald, based in New York, will lead our sales efforts in the United States, focusing on business development, planning sales events, enhancing client relationships, and generating leads for Wharf Hotels.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Ronald Wu brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role. His impressive career includes positions with renowned brands such as Starwood, Hyatt, Peninsula Hotels, and Okura Nikko Hotels. Most recently, Ronald served as the Regional Director of Sales for Deutsche Hospitality, where he played a key role in the company's successful rebranding to H World International.

His outstanding performance and dedication earned him the Discover’s Network Spirit Award, highlighting his ability to drive continuous revenue growth and profit.

Ronald holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Sales & Marketing and Hotel Development from New York University, where he graduated magna cum laude. His academic background and extensive industry experience make him a valuable asset to the Wharf Hotels team.
