Air New Zealand extends partnership with Discover the World in Indonesia and Malaysia

Discover the World is proud to announce that Air New Zealand has chosen to extend its cooperation for offline sales & marketing representation in Indonesia and Malaysia. The new GSA contract will be effective 1st July 2020.
Air New Zealand was happy with the past performance of the Discover the World offices in these markets and wants to be ready with an experienced and professional sales organization that continues developing Air New Zealand revenues from South East Asia into New Zealand, Australia and the South Pacific Islands once international flights resume.
Tony Lim, Regional Director for Discover the World added: "We have been representing NZ in the region since 2008. Over the years we have demonstrated and proven to NZ, our ability to provide good business practice & advise to capture business in our local markets. The recent renewal of our GSA agreement with NZ, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic where airlines are finding ways to reduce cost, reflects the importance of this partnership. Air New Zealand know they can count on Discover’s “Rebound Ready” strategy & spirit and continue to deliver post-COVID."
Meet Tony Lim:
As Regional Director, Tony oversees Discover’s Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Hong Kong offices. He joined Discover in 1989 and has been recognized several times for his excellence in business operations, sales, and creative marketing. He is the recipient of the Discover Award, given to the director who most exemplifies these traits.
Tony’s teams are consistently recognized for their professional sales talents and have built solid relationships with trade partners in the markets.
He honed his industry skills while working with Pan Am then United Airlines in both passenger and cargo sales.
Tony is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce and past President of the ASTA Singapore Chapter.
